The equipment generates a flow of plasma which, when it acts on the tissue, triggers a gentle and thermal effect.

Plasma is an ionized gas made up of ions and electrons.

This gas is formed by removing electrons from the electron shell of the atoms or by breaking molecules (ionization).

The plasma state is often referred to as the fourth physical state.
